By their animal type – (i) invertebrate pests e.g. nematodes, arthropods, coleopteran, Lepidoptera, larvae of butterflies, etc. (ii) Vertebrate pests- Birds e.g. weaver birds; mammals e.g. rodents, monkeys Life cycles of pests; control of pests; diseases caused by pests and their agents-viral diseases e.g. mosaic diseases, rosette diseases of groundnut, fungal diseases e.g. mottling diseases; Bacterial diseases e.g. bacterial wilt, leaf spot, soft root, etc. |
